TESTIMONIALS

Pinner High School

The SweetScience Programme has brought focus and purpose to a lot of our students, especially those with difficult home lives.

Welldon Park Academy

In a short time we've already seen improvement in the children’s self-esteem and there's been a reduction in behaviour incidents in most of the participants. Overall, this intervention has been brilliant for all students that've taken part.

Parent

As a parent of a child with severe ADHD and mild ASD, I have immediately seen the benefits of my son working with SweetScience.

Nower Hill School

The group is predominantly boys and has been put together based on those who need support with school engagement, behaviour or just overall motivation. The girls within the group are equally enjoying the sessions, sharing how positive it makes them feel. The sessions are fun with all students engaged.

Mapesbury School

The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were engaged from beginning to end. It was felt by all as though the activity was a great way to teach discipline and camaraderie, listening skills and turn taking, amongst others, in a structured

and fun way.

Student

[The sessions] help me gain confidence, and in lessons when I’m disruptive, it helps me regain focus through the discipline I’ve learned.

Featherstone High School

I've been so impressed with the way the students have engaged with and responded to the sessions.

They're working very well together as a team and are making new connections with peers. We've seen positive progress with students' confidence and attitude to learning elsewhere in the school.  We're so pleased and grateful to have access to this programme, which reaches our students in a different way to what our existing provision can offer.

Edith Kay School

Thank you for bringing your talent and expertise to our school. The pupils really enjoyed today's session and were still talking about it after you'd left the building! I'm genuinely impressed that you were able to bring two particularly avoidant young people into the group. Clearly they felt safe and comfortable joining in.

The activity itself was pitched perfectly for our young people. The underlying message of positive modelling and mentoring will make a real impact on our young people.

Ealing Fields High School

Leroy delivered an outstanding first session of a 10‑week programme at our school, engaging boys and girls with warmth, authority and real purpose. Throughout, Leroy was holding every student’s attention, strongly advocating that girls as well as boys should build inner confidence and self‑defence skills. He set clear expectations through a verbal contract that boxing must never be used in anger, with consequences rooted in reflection, accountability and respect.
